DOCVIT’S VISITS IN THE UK (II) - Cross-Border Culture Exchange for Celebrating the “Chinese Year” at Cambridge in the UK

During the Spring Festival of 2019, Mr. Liu Guangchao, the Chief Director of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, and Lawyer Zhang Ting, the Director of the International Business Department and the Senior Partner of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm traveled to London for exchange and visit. The Chief Director, Mr. Liu Guangchao and Lawyer Zhang Ting visited the Bar Council, the British young lawyers association, the London Court of International Arbitration, London Maritime Arbitrators Association, the St. John's College, Cambridge and many international well-known law firms in the UK. In addition, Mr. Liu Guangchao and Lawyer Zhang Ting were invited to attend the "Chinese Year” themed dinner and a series of wine parties, and they also established cooperative partnerships with many international law firms on behalf of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm. We will publish a series of articles of “DOCVIT’s Visits in the UK" to record DOCVIT’s each steps and start to pile up DOCVIT’s internationalization road for the year of 2019.

On February 5, 2019, also the first day night in the Chinese lunar calendar, Cambridge China Centre invited Mr. Liu Guangchao, the Chief Director of the Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, and Lawyer Zhang Ting, also the Director of the International Business Department and the Senior Partner of the Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, to attend the "China Year" dinner party which was organized by the St John’s College, Cambridge. This was a great annual event for Chinese and British industry experts, prominent managers and outstanding investors to better understand and to further communicate culture of the two countries.

The Chief Director Mr. Liu Guangchao and Lawyer Zhang Ting, as members of Chinese legal profession, friendly exchanged views with all the attendants at the dinner party on many topics such as the traditional culture, folk custom and legal and cultural construction in both China and the UK.
