On March 20, 2019, the 2019 Annual Meeting of the China Transportation Association Large-Scale Logistics Professional Committee was successfully held at the Shanghai World Expo Center. More than 150 large-scale logistics companies from all over the country attended the conference. Lawyer Wang Yongjing, a partner of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, was invited as an expert to participate in this annual meeting and gave a keynote speech on the legal issues related to risk prevention and control of large-scale logistics enterprises.
The annual meeting was chaired by Guo Minjie, president of the Logistics Technology and Equipment Committee of the China Communications and Transportation Association. Li Shenglin, the chairman of the 12th National People's Congress Financial and Economic Committee and the former Minister of the Ministry of Transport, delivered an important speech. Jiang Ruigang, vice president of the China Communications and Transportation Association, gave a theme speech. The Vice President and Secretary General Guo Bingnian made a special work report on behalf of the large-scale logistics professional committee. Minister Li Shenglin and President Jiang Ruigang represented the large-scale logistics professional committee to issue letters of appointment to experts such as Lawyer Wang Yongjing.
During the annual meeting, Lawyer Wang Yongjing made a special speech on "Legal Risks and Its Prevention of Large-Scale Logistics Enterprises". In the speech, Lawyer Wang clarified the relationship between the legal subjects of logistics and law, from the aspects of logistics operation, signing and performance of logistics contracts, corporate financing and investment mergers and acquisitions, combined with the practice of large-scale logistics enterprises, put forward the prevention opinions of logistics legal risks. From the legal perspective, she expressed an exclusive view on the management of logistics enterprises under the background of “The Belt and Road Initiative” and looked forward to the future development direction of the logistics industry.
During the annual meeting, the large-scale logistics professional committee also organized a visit to the “Breakbulk Asia” to exchange and discuss with the international large-scale logistics counterparts, and establish external contacts for large-scale logistics to “go globally” and seek the opportunities for participating in cooperation with “the Belt and Road Initiative” projects.Relevant Recommendation
